Founder of Postpartum Travel Nurses (PTN), Niema Duri brings in 15 plus years of experience from The Hospital For Sick Children.
Niema is a proud mother of two, with a passion in maternal and newborn care. In addition to her expertise in pediatric health, Niema is a Lactation Consultant and Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Certified.
Niema is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in pediatric care. Having worked at the renowned Hospital for Sick Children, Niema has gained invaluable experience and expertise in providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare to infants and children.
Throughout Niema’s tenure at the hospital, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to the well-being of young patients and their families. She has worked alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, therapists, lactation consultants and other specialists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients.
Niema has also seen the challenges and transitions that occur during the postpartum period especially around breastfeeding/feeding care and postpartum mental health. Having witnessed firsthand the physical, emotional, and psychological changes that mothers go through after childbirth, Niema is driven to offer support and guidance to ensure a smooth and successful postpartum journey. She founded PTN to provide exceptional home care nursing services to support the physical and emotional well-being of new mothers and their newborn. Her goal is to empower the postpartum journey with preventative care.
Sandria Bryce is a Registered Nurse, for the past 3 decades where she held employment in acute care, chronic care, community, public health and senior leadership for a Home and Community Care organization. Sandria’s passion to inspire, motivate and encourage individuals to be the best version of themselves, led her to complete additional training and supervision in Mental Health.
Sandria holds the designation as a Certified Nurse Psychotherapist from the College of Health Studies. She is the CEO of a private practice called IMOSO Psychotherapy. IMOSO means to: Inspire, Motivate, Optimize one’s ability, Strengthen and Overcome.
Sandria provides psychotherapy and counselling services to women who are experiencing feelings of stress, depression, anxiety, loss of identity and feeling undervalued. One of Sandria’s greatest passions is providing inspiration and motivation to women who are ready to change the trajectory of their lives.
Sandria believes that anyone can change and overcome the challenging and unexpected events that life presents. Her holistic, warm, empathetic, non-judgemental and collaborative approach to therapy provides a safe space for individuals to feel comfortable sharing their story.
Idil Farah is a passionate registered nutritionist and cultural food specialist dedicated to empowering women to thrive in their bodies through all stages of life. By teaching women to decipher the unique language of their individual bodies, Idil helps them make intentional choices to nourish themselves in alignment with their needs and goals.
At the heart of Idil’s practice is a commitment to making nutrition accessible and inclusive. She provides culturally sensitive guidance that honours her clients’ diverse backgrounds, traditions, and values around food. Her holistic, food-first approach blends science with ancestral knowledge, emphasizing the transformative power of using Food as Medicine and the Kitchen as a Farmacy.
Idil specializes in intuitive eating, hormonal health, digestive health, and chronic disease management. She works closely with her clients to help them reclaim sovereignty in their healing journeys, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Deeply rooted in health equity and wellness inclusivity, Idil integrates food, culture, race, and social justice into her work. She has collaborated with community groups, nonprofits, and educational organizations, including the Toronto and Peel District School Boards, to bridge the gap between nutrition, cultural identity, and holistic health.
